Is the IPCC too close to Greenpeace?

  1. Are they different?

  2. I believe Greenpeace's coordinating office is in Amsterdam which IS pretty close to Geneva...

  3. Apart from the anti-whaling boats - spot on.

  4. Amsterdam.... isn't that where you are from Andrew?

  5. The IPCC is working with Greenpeace to increase the living area of whales. That is why the IPCC is cutting down forests to make paper to print the neverending reports they publish. That is why they are making the glaciers melt by flying around the world to meetings using fossil fuels. The increase in ocean coverage of the earth will enable Greenpeace's pathetic friends "the whales", to roam once again across the earth and swallow poor innocent Christians like Jonah. As a cover, they claim that they are fighting global warming and riddle their reports with errors so no-one knows what is true or flase. Then they "leak" all their dodgey emails to again muddy the waters. Typical of the left.

  6. The point that is overlooked in the rush to protect the so-called "environment" is why do humans and our planet need other physical and biological systems. And why not set ourselves the challenge of pushing the limits of our ability to adapt?

As one of the highlighted comments in this thread noted, "how about an Englishman retiring - or even holidaying in Spain or The Bahamas? They manage to adapt, idiot"

  7. There's way more letters in "Greenpeace" than in "IPCC"

  8. Yes but the same elements are there when you look for them. As evidence a whopping 50% of IPCC's letters are there in Greenpeace! That is exactly one half of the IPCC!

  9. There's a definite long term trend of same letters in both. It's been trending as such for at least a decade. What more proof is needed?

This debate needs balance. So the next IPCC report should be completely written as a single palendrome which would make it neatly balanced.
