As the warmists like to note, the surface temperature trend is confirmed by satellite measurements so the debate about the urban heat island effect is irrelevant.

I see, so it's the temperature sensing satellites themselves that raise the temperature. yet another datapoint that confirms the commonsense view of BlogScience(TM) that this global warminism is a plot to stop us eating biscuits.
